REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

Grocsmart

Effective Date: 01/01/2026

This Refund & Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) governs cancellations, returns, and refunds for orders placed through the Grocsmart mobile application or website (“Platform”). By placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. ORDER CANCELLATION

1.1 Before Dispatch

  • Users may cancel an order before it has been dispatched.

  • Once canceled, a full refund (if applicable) will be initiated.

1.2 After Dispatch

  • Orders cannot be canceled once dispatched.

  • In exceptional cases, cancellation requests may be reviewed at Grocsmart’s sole discretion.

2. REFUND ELIGIBILITY

Refunds may be issued in the following cases:

  • Wrong product delivered

  • Missing items in the order

  • Damaged or spoiled items at the time of delivery

  • Order not delivered

  • Duplicate or incorrect charges

Refund requests must be raised within 1 hours of delivery.

3. NON-REFUNDABLE ITEMS

The following items are non-refundable, except where required by law:

  • Perishable goods (fruits, vegetables, dairy, meat, frozen items)

  • Items marked as “non-returnable”

  • Products damaged due to improper handling after delivery

  • Orders with incorrect address or unavailability of the recipient

4. REFUND PROCESS

  • Refund requests can be raised via the App / Customer Support.

  • Users may be required to provide images or additional information.

  • Once approved, refunds will be processed within 7 business days.

  • Refunds will be credited to the original payment method or Grocsmart wallet, as applicable.

5. PARTIAL REFUNDS

If only part of an order is affected (e.g., one damaged item), a partial refund may be issued for the affected item(s) only.

6. DELIVERY FAILURES

If delivery fails due to:

  • Incorrect address provided by the User

  • User unavailability at delivery location

Grocsmart reserves the right to deny refunds or deduct delivery/handling charges.

7. SELLER & THIRD-PARTY RESPONSIBILITY

Grocsmart facilitates transactions between Users and third-party Sellers. Refund decisions may be subject to Seller verification and policies, where applicable.

8. FRAUD PREVENTION

Grocsmart reserves the right to deny refunds in cases of:

  • Repeated refund requests

  • Suspected misuse or fraud

  • Violation of Terms & Conditions

9. POLICY UPDATES

Grocsmart may update this Policy at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform indicates acceptance of the updated Policy.
